Calling all our Augmazing Augie family: We all have them - free cosmetic bags given to us when it's Bonus Time at our favorite makeup counter. But did you know these gently used or new cosmetic bags become so much more when filled with mini toiletries or those sample size items from hotels? We didn't! But one young man in Wheaton did and he's collecting them to send to the victims of the California fires via their local Salvation Army. If you're as devastated as we are by the images and stories from California, this is such a great way to put heartache into action. Check your closets, cabinets and drawers for these little gems! Gather up those hotel goodies stored in your suitcase or under your bathroom sink! Take a swing down the travel toiletry aisle! Then drop off what ever you can to either of our Augie's locations. But we've got to be quick! His shipment leaves on Tuesday so we need your donations ASAP! You're wonderful. You're great. And thank you in advance for what ever you can spare!

Thank you to all our vets - past, present and future - for your service and commitment to our great country. Aug served his country during the Korean War as a transportation specialist. Part of his duties included organizing entertainment for the troops. When nothing was available, he and the boys put together a little band where he played his trumpet. "Music and food are a universal language," he always said. A belief that drives our own family business now officially forty years later. Thank you to all the families of our vets for your continued sacrifice and support for your own loved ones. And thank you Boss Aug for being one of a kind.
